Just want you to know that my mother and I are very pleased with your service thus far. With some reluctance on my mother's part, I enrolled her in your service about two weeks ago. Although she has help during the day, she is on her own in the evenings. With increasing frequency in the evenings, she had not been removing the pain patches on her lower back (12 hours on/12 hours off) and not taking her medications scheduled for bedtime. Your service has solved this problem beautifully!
Now, if she forgets or simply falls asleep before removing the patches and taking the medications, your two customized reminder calls tell her exactly what needs to be done. These calls, scheduled for 9:30 pm and 11:00 pm each evening, have consistently been made by Angel Telecare as scheduled, and the acknowledgement procedure is simple for my mother to understand and follow. I now have peace of mind, and my mother has said, "The Angel calls are great - I no longer have to worry about remembering or worry about falling asleep. I just don't have to think about it at all!"
As you know, we had one occasion to test out your alert procedure, and that worked beautifully as well. On that occasion, my mother had inadvertently left the phone off the hook, and therefore your service could not contact her as scheduled.
As the first point of contact, I promptly received and acknowledged the alert notification via phone call and email. I elected to contact the Security Department at the retirement community where my mother lives. They in turn went to her apartment to check on her and learned that she was OK - had simply left the phone off the hook.
Had your service been unable to reach me under these circumstances, I have peace of mind knowing that your service has further procedures in place to reach out to additional points of contact.
